Well, I'm working on mine right now, I said on Facebook that I was going to get it made out of metal, but I already have a set made of PVC and I just got a new helmet, so I'll probably do the metal set in a few years.

I would use sintra for the armor, and you'll need a jump suit and a flak vest to mount the plates on.

you dont have to use a jump suit but they are rather handy....one thing you might want to consider is the type of mando you are going with. for instance the mando armor im making is more of a light sniper/assault type so im useing under armor instead of a flight suit to give it a more sleek look. but yea once you've a good design that you like and you want to make it last you should upgrade to metal. ive got somone making me some aluminum armor for paintball among other things and its going to be pretty bad shebs! also im working on some armor for T.J. and Alisha which hopfully ill be able to finnish soon if i can find a good close place to get sintra.

How much did it cost to get that made, and at what type of place are you doing it?

um the armor is costing me about $675 for a full set minus the bucket. im not sure what they call their armor making buisness but the people who do it live in Tenn and are named Kate and Roy Cox. but yea ill see if i can find thier company name for you. they can also make armor out of steel if you want the extra strength in exchange for the lighter weight.
