Well, what a dilly this deal turned out to be.

The Fett Gazette News / Once Again Up and Running!
« on: November 06, 2017, 12:54:49 AM »
Following a lengthy downtime after our hosts made some kind of a DNS server change, is finally back up and running once again!  (Not that anyone really comes around these parts anymore!)

The Fett Gazette News / Downtime
« on: May 27, 2015, 09:34:28 PM » had some downtime today (May 27, 2015) for hosting maintenance, but should now be up and running correctly alongside our new sister site, Old Time Blues!

On the 14th of February, the Followers of Mandalore will officially enter its sixth year of existence since its founding in 2009, so be sure to come around here and our Facebook group in honor of this red-letter day!

This thread is dedicated to the celebration of this landmark occasion.

CONELRAD checking in.  I still come around, seeing as I pay the bills around here.

I hope that this site is still active/the memebers are here still.

Yes, we're still around, not as much as we used to be, perhaps, but I know some of us still check in.

Allow me to be the first to welcome you to the FoM. I think I can safely speak for all of us when I say that we would be happy to collaborate with you and your organization.

Some businesses these days don't seem to be too interested in listening to the customers, but then again I'm still bitter from LucasArts and SOE shutting down Star Wars Galaxies. Of course I'd be thrilled if they made something good, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I think we could stand to have another game like Dark Forces II and the rest of the Jedi Knight series, with updated graphics and game mechanics. Those are still some of my favorite games.

Fell Skyhawk reporting in.  8)

Glad to know you're still around.

After shutting down LucasArts, Disney has granted Electronic Arts, including subsidiaries such as BioWare, the exclusive rights to produce Star Wars games.

Active Followers of Mandalore, report in!

The Fett Gazette News / May the Fourth be With You!
« on: May 04, 2013, 03:43:17 PM »
Happy Star Wars day, and May the Fourth be with you!

Four members besides myself, if I remember correctly.

Also, I think it would be great if we can get some activity on Steam, I think gaming could potentially be a great source of activity for the FoM.

I'd also still like to get a guild started on TOR, but I'd need the support of at least four members for that. I've still never really gotten around to playing TOR, but I keep saying that I will.

I also apologize, my mandalorian ideals have been focused on aliit soly'c also on main issue with almost all of the real mandalorian groups have an extreme lack of face to face between actual members and that is something that needs to be fixed fast or all real mandalorian groups risk having people become bored with it. Aliit soly'c is attempting to plan a get together maybe this year perhaps in Nor Cal so we will see if that pans out, i think all the different mando groups should try to meet fact to face to figure out and overall plan for the Mando'ade community as a whole expand. also one reason i've kinda pulled away from this group is because one of my main focuses is on military style training and developing new weapons and i know you didnt want that on your page.

I do agree with you about face to face communication, but the Followers of Mandalore is primarily a web based organization, the Aliit Sol'yc seems to be a great organization, and I'm all for it, but there's no point in the Followers of Mandalore having the same purpose. However, if the opportunity presents itself, I'd be all for a Followers of Mandalore event, but I don't have the resources to organize such a thing, that's one of the main reasons for the chapters. If any of the chapters wanted to organize some sort of local event, that would be fantastic.

Out member base is too low, we need to continue to branch out and attempt to draw more members in from across the internet.
